About the new 8% GST on Sea Shipping Fee
All sea-shipping orders are subject to GST. The GST is based on 7% or 8% of the total value of goods in one shipping order.
(a) All sea-shipping orders that are placed before 20 December 2022 will not be subject to the 8% rate. The same 7% GST rate still applies.
(b) All sea-shipping orders that are placed from 20 December 2022 will be subject to the new 8% rate.
(3) Air Shipping Rates
About the new 8% GST on Air Shipping Fee
(a) All air-shipping orders that are placed before 24 December 2022 will not be subject to the 8% GST rate. The same 7% GST rate (if total value exceeds $400) still applies. No GST is required for an air shipping order which has a declared value less than $400.
(b) All air-shipping orders that are placed from 24 December 2022 will be subject to the 8% GST rate regardless of the total value of a parcel.
(4) Free Alipay Pay-for-You (Dai-Fu 代付) and Top-Up (充值) Services
We provide Alipay Pay-for-Friend and top-up services to all Taobao2SG registered members. You can shop whatever you want from Taobao, Tmall, or 1688 and do not need to worry about the expensive international transaction fee charge by your credit card issuing banks. Simply top-up your account balance at your own Taobao2SG account and then inform us to pay for you or top-up your Alipay account. This service is free and is exclusive to Taobao2SG members only. We hope our services will help you enjoy your shopping experiences even more.
(5) Free local delivery, Responsive WhatsApp Reply, and Convenient Self-collection
For qualified shipping orders (i.e., a sea shipping order exceeding $60 or an air shipping order exceeding 15 kg), we will provide free local delivery services. Please refer to the fee tables above regarding free or paid delivery. In addition to our delivery services, you may also choose to collect the parcels by yourself from one of our warehouses or collection points (Clementi / Woodlands / Kaki Bukit) at your convenient time.
