Normal Air Parcels and Sensitive Air Parcels
Normal air parcels and sensitive air parcels must be submitted via separate shipping orders because they will go through different clearance procedures at both China Customs and Singapore Customs.
Sensitive air parcels are not necessarily also sensitive for shipping by sea. Some goods that are sensitive by air shipping can be shipped as normal parcels if the parcels are switched to be shipped by sea. For example, some home appliances and stationery are sensitive by air shipping, but they can be shipped as normal sea parcels.
The followings are some frequently imported sensitive goods via air shipping: goods in powder form or containing powder (e.g., printer cartridge, cosmetics, and formula milk powder), product in liquid form or being moisture (e.g., beverage, alcohol swab, printer ink, lotion, and beauty facial mask), cream, medicine (prescribed or over-the-counter), plants and seeds of plants, goods containing a battery (e.g., digital watch), all kinds of food (e.g., snacks and tea leaves), genuine or counterfeit products of luxury brands (e.g., counterfeit Rolex watch, genuine LV bags), goods equipped with magnet (e.g., speaker, microphone, headset, earpieces), and gaming (gambling) gadgets

* Food: tea leaves, snacks, dry food, and processed food, etc. * Cosmetics: makeup, skincare product, lip balm, lip sticks, perfume, lotion, etc. * Liquid and moisture product: beverage, ink, pen refills, wet tissue, alcohol swab, hand sanitizer, etc. * Medicine – all kinds of medicine and drugs. Cargo airlines are very strict about the classifications between sensitive and normal air parcels. All cargo airlines use high-tech machines to scan and check all air parcels before the parcels can be loaded on their cargo aeroplanes.
